PAL Evidence Eliminator sets the stage for their product by claiming that local law enforcement officers could be monitoring your internet sites as we speak. Obviously the goal of Evidence Eliminator is to prevent you from past and future troubles related to your internet surfing, although it also promises to provide limited protection from spyware meant to hack into your personal information. Evidence Eliminator also prevents hackers from accessing your personal information, removing any existing spyware and preventing future issues.

In addition, PAL certainly backs their product, Evidence Eliminator, offering a 30-day money-back guarantee and a low “sale” price of $29.99 (which “ends today,” according to their website). Evidence Eliminator is also supposed to be easy to use, although you do have to complete some initial set-up in order to get the program up and running. The PAL site offers e-mail technical support only, which may make it more difficult for novice users to input their settings for Evidence Eliminator.

Although Evidence Eliminator doesn’t claim to be a complete spyware program (in fact, PAL offers a number of programs to help with this tall order), it does promise to be a relatively user-friendly way to protect your interests, whatever those might be. While we wouldn’t recommend PAL Evidence Eliminator as a way to keep spyware and adware threats at bay, we do think it has a number of positive characteristics related to keeping your PC free of information that could cause future problems – legal or personal.

Pros
• Evidence Eliminator provides a number of useful tools, especially geared toward freeing up space on your hard drive and erasing information you don’t want retained.
• Evidence Eliminator promises to work with all internet service providers, windows operating systems, and internet programs (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, etc.).

Cons
• Although Evidence Eliminator is “on sale” for $29.99 “ending today,” this program’s regular sale price is still $49.99.
• Evidence Eliminator seems to be geared more toward protecting yourself from fishy downloading and documenting scandals and less toward protecting your computer from spyware and adware.
