Learn And Master Photography: Be An Instant Pro Photographer

February 11th, 2012

There appears to be massive interest and enthusiasm for digital photography; it started just a few short years ago.  This is most probably the result of the prices for digital cameras continually decreasing as their technology consistently rises.  But then again, any person would want to be able to recreate moments so vividly as if they were happening right there on frame or paper, right?  If you have a digital camera, don’t you think this skill is worth pursuing?  Of course, it is no secret that skill acquisition has a price tag and it also requires time.  One thing technology has given us is the capacity to better utilize our time, such as, with Learn & Master Photography by Vince Wallace.  Learning tools like this is your best bet for learning photography, particularly if you barely have the time to set aside for developing a new skill.

So what content in basic digital photography lessons should you look for?  First, you would want to have the ability to tinker with your digital camera’s settings.  Simply owning a DSLR doesn’t mean you’re automatically going to take amazing photos.  Point and shoot cameras today carry a lot of features that were previously exclusive only to DSLRs.  Unfortunately, you won’t be able to understand any of these features’ uses if you don’t get lessons on digital photography basics. Lessons on these would help you navigate your way around the settings of your camera so you can swiftly get on with taking amazing pictures.

Ever found yourself wondering what those ISO and white balance settings are for?  Well one thing’s for sure, having knowledge of them would certainly improve the quality of the pictures you take.  If you should ever decide to start getting lessons on digital photography basics, some resources you should look up are Your Guide to Digital Photography by Dan Feildman, Digital Wedding Secrets and Digital Photography Success by Amy Renfrey.

Taking amazing pictures isn’t just about tuning your camera settings or about your camera itself.  The lighting, your hold, your body positioning, among other things, all contributes to the final result of your photo.   Want more digital photography tips? Are You Trying To Find Natural Relief For Tinnitus?

February 11th, 2012

A lot of people probably label Tinnitus as a disease but this is inaccurate.  Tinnitus is actually a symptom, not a disease, of other ailments.  Tinnitus is derived from the word “tinnire” which is a Latin word for “to ring”.  The symptom is pretty much that, a ringing in the ears which can exhibit itself in a variety of forms.  It can be very mild or soft that it would barely get in the way of the afflicted person’s  everyday functions.  It can also be very severe that it would become a big hindrance to someone’s everyday menial activities.  Since it isn’t a disease itself,  one can only expect to alleviate its effects.  One would be better off taking care of the cause of Tinnitus by seeing a doctor in order to completely eliminate its future occurrence.  Learn more about Tinnitus at Tinnitus Miracle by Thomas Coleman.

While Tinnitus the symptom  has something to do with one’s hearing, some of the ailments associated with it do not necessarily fall under hearing disorders.  It can result as a reaction to long-term exposure to drugs like aspiring and antibiotics.  It can also be a symptom reflective of disorders that involve the blood vessels and the heart.  In most cases though, Tinnitus is symptomatic of ailments the involve the ear canal like wax buildup or ear infection.  In any case, if you want to naturally heal Tinnitus, you can check out these resources:  Banish Tinnitus by Paul Carrington and Goodbye Tinnitus by David Daulton.  In the meantime, you can read and review the following Tinnitus cures:

One of the readily available treatment options you can readily buy over the counter is that of the herb Gingko Biloba.   It improves circulation and makes sure that all the nerves in your ears are cleared so you can hear all levels of sound.  If you’re fine with getting your hands a little dirty, you might also want to try preparing a mixture of apple cider vinegar, water and honey.  A lot of Tinnitus sufferers proclaim to have felt immediate relief after drinking this.  Testing various cures, especially natural ones, wouldn’t hurt at all.  Last but not the least, someone suffering from Tinnitus can really alleviate the symptom by saying no to headphones for a while and by lowering the volume of sound systems when listening to music and whatnot.  For more ideas regarding Tinnitus cures, check out Product Ratings at ReviewMOZ.org.

Tips From Panic Away: Panic Attack Prevention

February 11th, 2012

Understanding panic attacks is the first step towards overcoming it.  This is why if you want to know how to overcome panic attacks, you have to educate yourself of its causes so you can prevent any future occurrence.  Preventing something from happening is still easier than curing it.  For a detailed how-to on how you can stop panic attacks for good, read this highly regarded resource: Panic Away by Joe Barry McDonagh.  What follows is a brief discussion about panic attacks.

The symptoms of a panic attack are  most common and most familiar to those who have experienced them: hot and cold flushes, shortness of breath, rapid breathing and a sense of impending doom.  Unfortunately, with panic attacks, familiarity doesn’t breed complacency.  In fact, these symptoms make those who’ve gone through them fear them so much, that a new wave of panic attack can more often than not be triggered.  Now, before I provide you details about the natural ways you can cure a panic attack (which is what doctors recommend before they let you dive into any form of medication), I think it is helpful that you know how to prevent a panic attack before it gets blown out of proportion.  For a complete list of these prevention techniques, read the Linden Method by Charles Linden and Panic Puzzle by Rich Presta.

One of the easiest ways you can prevent a panic attack is by overhauling your diet.  It’s easy to overlook ingesting too much sugar and caffeine, two of the worst instigators of panic attacks.  If these two are in amounts higher than your body needs, it would be so easy for your pulse to start running and for an attack to set off, even if you’re exposed to only the mildest triggers.  Try cutting back on these foods, or better yet, keep these off your diet for some time and you will see how fast your heart rate changes to a more stable state.  Another way to prevent a panic attack is through the use of a simple meditation technique.  Panic-inducing thoughts like worries and fears are easily silenced with meditation.

Now let’s go to the natural cures for panic attacks.  You only have to remember one word when a panic attack strikes: distraction.  Count, but to keep yourself more distracted, count backwards.  Begin from 100 down to 1. Or you can try washing your face with water.  Doing any or both of the two will pull you from your worries and keep your panic at bay.  Another trick is to always keep bringing with you a brown paper bag; this is especially true if you are prone to spontaneous attacks.  This can help you normalize your breathing by simply having it over your mouth and nose while you breathe normally.  It automatically regulates your breathing.  Learn about more natural ways to cure panic attacks by reading our product reviews on ReviewMOZ.org.

Uncovering Fake Product Reviews

February 8th, 2012

There is increasing concern on the Internet about fake product reviews, and rightly so.  Fake product reviews are really advertisements in disguise.  Some of these fake product reviews are really convincing and very difficult for most Internet surfers to uncover.   It looks like a thoughtful and constructive analysis of a product, but in reality may be a fake product review, thinly disguised as a sales pitch, with phony user feedback.

It’s like watching a health oriented documentary on TV for 10 or 15 minutes before you finally realize the whole thing is an advertisement about a particular health product.  It’s not that the docu-commercial is dishonest or misleading or doesn’t give you good information.  However, whenever you receive information, regardless whether that source is a product review or television documentary or financial advisor, you need to understand if that person has a potential bias that could affect your decision.  In fact in the United States, the Federal Trade Commission requires bloggers and websites to prominently display whether they receive any fees from manufacturers.

If you want a lasting relationship with your customers, as we do here at ReviewMOZ, then telling your customer of any potential bias, whether real or perceived, is a way to demonstrate full transparency, honesty and openness   Unfortunately, most bloggers and websites on the Internet do not display such a disclaimer.  They want you to buy a particular product to get a commission paid to them by the manufacturer, so they probably see the disclaimer as a possible distraction to convincing you to buy. That’s just being short sighted, and potentially greedy.

If their website is providing a product review for just one product, or maybe just a handful of products, you need to be very diligent.  Remember, there are honest, thoughtful reviewers out there, including ReviewMOZ.  But there are also a lot that are not.  The worst offenders often provide overly positive reviews of the product or only a few short sentences of product review.    Some throw in some minor “cons” to give the impression the review is balanced.  Others, with review sites covering only 3 or 4 products, sometimes deliberately skew the results so that the one product they really want you to buy is the top rated.  Some even include fake user reviews, or user reviews that were paid for, to make it all seem less fake.  Their primary objective is to have you buy that particular product so that they can receive a fee from the manufacturer.   Any fee they receive will not increase the price you pay, so that’s not your major concern:  you really want to know if they have a bias.

No one is going to go through the expense of creating a website to offer their opinion of a product without some strings attached.  Something, or someone, has to pay for the cost of operating the website.  So be very careful if any product reviewer has not disclosed that they receive (or don’t receive)  payment for promoting the product.  If they are hiding that fact, maybe they’re hiding a lot of other information from you as well.  You don’t want to be scammed into buying a product that isn’t right for you, or worse, being unable to get your money back if the product is a dud.

At ReviewMOZ we provide product reviews on hundreds of products, not just a couple, so you can conduct product comparisons.  Our goal is that the information we provide will help you to decide on the right product for you, and more importantly, that you’re satisfied afterwards with the purchase and you’ll revisit our site for additional recommendations on other products.  Regardless which product you buy, we will receive a fee, so doesn’t it make more sense for us to help you buy the right product, and have you want to come back later to buy another and another?  It does to us.

ReviewMOZ product reviews are written by third party product reviewers.  They first review all the information on the product manufacturer’s website to understand the manufacturer’s claims and promises.  In most cases, we also provide the product reviewer a copy of the actual product so that they can install, use and provide personal feedback on their experiences.  Most importantly, we ask them to scour the Internet for comments from actual customers, both positive and negative.   This can be very difficult to do since many of the reviews that you find are really potential fake reviews, written by affiliates, and not by actual customers.  We ask them to reveal any customer feedback, whether positive or negative, in their review.  If the customer feedback is negative or positive, it will be reflected in the review and the product rating.  If the customer feedback was unfair, then they will note that in the product review and try to put it into perspective.   Finally we ask our third party product reviewers to give a rating for the product, including pros and cons, so that a reader can better evaluate whether the product is right for them or not.  Everyone is different.  I’ve seen customers buy 3-rated products and be very satisfied.  I’ve also seen customers buy 5-rated products and return them.  So read the reviews carefully.  A particular pro or con reported by our product reviewer may not be that relevant to your particular situation.  Any product with a rating of 3.5 or higher is worth your serious consideration.

We always try to identify the most popular products before giving them to a product reviewer for creation of a product review.   However, as a result of the product reviewer’s research, the product reviewer may rate the product as” not recommended” or with a low score.  You’ll find a number of these on the site, with the reasons for the product reviewer rating within the product review.

All the products on ReviewMOZ carrier a return warranty and well over 95% of them have been confirmed to be a no-hassle return warranty for 60 days.  The product review highlights which products have reliable warranties, and how to successfully return a product without any hassle,  in case you are not satisfied with your purchase.

Finally, our ratings are highly impacted by your user experience.  The user reviews on this site are from real people.  Some of those user reviews are pretty negative, and as result, we may lower the product review rating of the product.  There are a lot of user reviews that are very positive, so we may increase the product review rating accordingly.  We also try to monitor product return rates from unsatisfied customers.  Although this can be difficult to do, if we see a higher than normal product return rate, or if we see a lower than normal product return rate, we will adjust the product rating accordingly.

At ReviewMOZ, we want to be your first choice for real product reviews.  Yes, we do earn a fee if you end up buying the product from the manufacturer.  But hopefully, we’ve earned your trust by describing how we create those reviews.   We strive to provide you with extremely useful information about each product, plus real user feedback that can help you make a personal, informed decision.   If after all this you are not happy with the product that you buy from the manufacturer, you should be relieved to know that most of the products on ReviewMOZ come with a no hassle return warranty.

We want you to be so satisfied with whatever purchase you make, that you will return to our site again and again!   We really hope that you will leave a user review of any product you ended up buying.  Your participation will make ReviewMOZ an even better resource for all of us!
