RegiCleanse is a registry cleaning program that scans and fixes incorrect registry data to speed up any computer. The official site offers a free PC scan and free registry cleaner program download. This program searches for invalid entries, including DLL, explorer, run time errors, and other system bugs. The RegiCleanse program installer needs 3.4MB of PC space. It is recommended for Windows Vista, Windows XP and older Windows operating system versions.

I downloaded this software in an attempt to root out a registry problem on a friend's computer. This software did a scan and removed all the necessary components for the basic system software to run. It never found the virus which was hiding in the boot sector. I eventually had to use other FREE software to find and remove it then run a system restore to undo the damage the RegiCleanse had done. Unfortunately, in my naive eagerness I purchased the two license system and put it on my own PC. Now my start menu won't save shortcuts to commonly used applications and other portions of Windows have started to function erraticly. Stay away from this piece of junk!
