Scouring online and checking the various language learning forums, I can tell with certainty that this product is not a scam but a legitimate language program. Rocket is a well respected company and gets an excellent grade from the BBB. Its language learning programs are very well received and seem to provide a lot of people the basics that they need to learn a new language. People seem to like the casual pace and flexibility of these programs as well as the very affordable price. The only things that these "teach yourself" programs lack is good feedback on pronunciation and more advanced learning options. However, if your are looking for a good toehold on a specific language, this is good place to start.

Checking out what people are saying about Nikita Sharma's Rocket Hindi Course, I could not find anything overtly negative about it. Most people seem to think that it is an adequate program that offers good basic knowledge about Hindi, making it ideal for people who are planning to travel. The complaints I did find about the program were that it is a bit "pricey" (as opposed to free) and that it is rather "basic".
