Scouring the Internet and visiting various language learning forums, I found mostly positive results for Rocket Japanese. Those negative comments that I did find mostly centered on the marketing and price of the program. It does appear that this program has been aggressively promoted by affiliates who promise amazing results that are not really possible. There is probably not a language program out there that can have you speaking fluently in a matter of weeks. While Rocket Japanese is definitely cheaper than many other language programs and classes, there are other language resources out there that are even cheaper and some that are even free. Nonetheless, with interactive learning courses, a support forum, games, tests and a lifetime membership, most customers of the Rocket Language Programs seem to believe that they are getting their money's worth.

Looking through the Rocket Japan site and looking at the lessons and games, I found that the site was pretty well put together. I like the fact that casual learning format that allows you to learn at your own pace and the option to download the lessons into MP3 format. The only thing that would have probably made it better was if it had interactive videos as well. Also, since this is a self learning program, you will have to look elsewhere for feedback on your pronunciation.
