SpyWare Nuker is a basic program that protects your computer from spyware and adware. Although the “nuker” product line offers scanners to block from other types of threats (like pop-ups and errors), SpyWare Nuker is only designed to block and remove spyware and adware.

Although SpyWare Nuker is specialized to only defend your computer against spyware and adware, your purchase of this program (beginning at $39.95) does provide you with lifetime protection as well as automatic updates. In addition, customer support is available via e-mail, and if you are unsatisfied, SpyWare Nuker comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Like most spyware or adware programs, SpyWare Nuker comes with automatic updates as well as a free version of Identity Defender software. Also like most computer programs, SpyWare Nuker offers an upgrade to their basic program, providing you with the downloadable version and a backup CD. That way, if something happens to your computer, you should still be able to reactivate SpyWare Nuker with your original registration code.

Downloading and installing SpyWare Nuker is easy, although the registration code provided can only be used on one computer. In addition, the “backup CD” program makes us wonder if you will only be able to download SpyWare Nuker on one occasion. We have no doubt that SpyWare Nuker provides advanced spyware and adware protection for your computer.

Compared to other software packages, SpyWare Nuker is a more specialized spyware system. Although your purchase of SpyWare Nuker lasts for a “lifetime,” for most of us, the lifetime of a computer isn’t that long. So, SpyWare Nuker may be a better deal for someone who is interested in a specific spyware/adware program for a newer operating system that will last.
