Control the thunder and become the best bassist that you can possibly be with Roy Vogt's “Teach Me Bass Guitar” lesson program. This award winning video program is definitely not a fly by night "teach you 3 days" hyped up program. It is a professionally made program that will give you the foundation you need to be the type of bass player you want to be. This self study course is the most complete bass study course ever created featuring great videos that are shot in high def.

What You Get:
-10 instruction DVDs (professionally shot in High Def and chock full of everything you need to know)
-Downloadable Lesson Book (printed version also available for extra)
-Play Along Videos at the end of each DVD lessons
-Real Time Fret Board: an animated visual aid that shows you exactly what notes are being played
-Professional Instruction from Roy Vogt: One of the finest bass instructors in the world
-Online Support through the members only section of Thunder Row

The price for this premier Bass Guitar Video Lesson plan sounds a bit pricey, but not in comparison to other top quality, comprehensive, guitar programs. These are actual DVD's shipped to your door and not some poorly shot instant streaming video. If this price is too hard swallow, you also have the option of paying it in three easy installments.

What Others think:

According to all the Bass Talk Forums, Roy Vogt is definitely the real deal. As a college level music instructor, he really knows his stuff and he is very well respected within the music community. You can find lots of videos of him on You Tube showing off what he can do. His “Teach Me Bass Guitar Program” is also very well liked and appears to be at the top of many bass players wish list. Not only is it "pure gold" for beginners, it also seems to be a good way for advanced bassists to "brush up" on the basics.

The only thing that could possibly hold you back from getting this well made program is the price. It far exceeds the price of many other guitar programs out there. However, it also seems to exceed these programs in terms of quality. Roy really knows his stuff and doesn't over hype the program. The videos are extremely well made and seem to be wanted by lots of aspiring bassists. If you are a bass player looking for the best self study course around, than this is it. It is also backed by a 90 day guarantee, so checking it out comes at no risk.

I did take 4 months of lessons, one 1/2 hour session per week at a cost of close to $400 dollars. I am learning more, faster with TMBG. The big bonus is I get to jam with a real band to feel what that is like before I go live and face the crowds, and I enjoy the pep talk at the beginning of each session. Thanks Again for a great, professionally designed product.

Pros
It is the most cost effective way I know of to learn to play the bass, and I can go back over items to refresh my brain at any time I need to.
